Case Study
A Hospital approached us to identify problems and provide solutions to increase their operating efficiency. Hospitals have many pieces of expensive, very mobile, lifesaving equipment, we noted that finding these equipment in times of need and high stress was often difficult. We addressed this problem by marking the equipment with customised BLE tags so equipment could be located when they were needed. By providing custom hardware to hospital staff, we also created a way for them to rapidly communicate, deal with emergencies and quickly and securely sign out equipment. This provided the hospital staff a much improved way to deal with medical emergencies, and provided the hospital a more accountable process in the handling of its vital equipment.
